A LITTLE HELP, WHEN YOU NEED IT

A few useful answers.

Practical answers about your planner, your timer, and your saved data.

Do I need an account or a subscription to use the planner?

No. The planner has no sign-up, payment screen, or visitor subscription. You can start typing right away.

Where is my data saved?

In this browser's local storage for this website address. The app does not upload your entries. Another device, browser profile, or domain will have a separate planner.

Why is my planner empty on another device or address?

There is no automatic cloud sync. Download a full backup from the browser with your data, then restore it on the other device or address. The two planners remain separate after the transfer.

Will clearing browser data delete my planner?

Yes, it can. Private browsing, browser cleanup, and storage limits can also affect saved data. Keep JSON backups. If the only copy has been cleared, the website cannot recover it from a server.

Why did I not hear the timer chime?

Enable Gentle chime and start or resume a session to allow browser audio. A muted tab, device sleep, background restrictions, or leaving the planner page can prevent sound. The timer catches up when you return, but it is not a reliable background alarm.

Why do focus totals show fewer minutes than I worked?

Only fully completed focus sessions count. Paused, reset, and unfinished sessions are not added. Sessions are recorded under their start date, including sessions that finish after midnight.

Can I plan tomorrow or edit an earlier day?

Yes. Use the date picker or arrows. Your tasks, notes, reflections, and ritual check-ins belong to the selected date. The inbox and ritual names are shared across dates. Focus sessions are started for today.

What are the planner's practical limits?

Each day has three priority slots, 20,000 note characters, and 1,000 reflection characters. You can keep 500 inbox tasks and eight active rituals. The ritual collection can hold 200 entries including archived rituals. Browser storage capacity also applies. These are app safeguards, not a monthly usage quota.

Can I undo an accidental change?

Removed inbox tasks and newly archived rituals have a short Undo window. You can untick a completed task or ritual. Notes do not have a separate version history, so keep regular backups.

What is the difference between a daily download and a backup?

A daily download is a text file for reading or keeping a copy of one day. A JSON backup includes the whole planner and can be restored. Restore replaces the current planner after confirmation; it does not combine two planners.

What should I do if saving stops working?

Download a full backup before closing or refreshing. Check that your browser allows site storage and has enough space. If existing data cannot be read, the app protects that stored copy from being overwritten. Restore a known-good backup to resume saving.

Does it work offline?

An already-open planner can continue working locally when your connection drops. Offline reopening is not guaranteed because the app does not install an offline cache. Connect to the internet when opening the site.

How do I change the theme?

Use the theme menu in the header. Light and Dark are fixed choices; Auto follows your device's preference. The selection is remembered in this browser.
